EWES Sound Fastener has been tested by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and Akustikverkstan in accordance with ISO 10140-2 and ISO 10140-3.
The tests prove that Sound Fastener reduces the noise level by 9 dB.
In test report A, EWES Sound Fastener has been used for impact sound test (floor) in accordance with EN ISO 10140-3.
In test report B, EWES Sound Fastener has been used for airborne sound test (floor) in accordance with EN ISO 10140-2.
In test report C, EWES Sound Fastener has been used for airborne sound test (wall) in accordance with EN ISO 10140-2.
In test report D, EWES Sound Fastener has been used for measuring sound reduction index of four different walltypes in accordance with EN ISO 10140-2.
EWES Sound Fastener is a sound resilient drywall screw for wood studs. The screw is fastened into single 12.5 mm plasterboard.
Applications
For rooms adjoining equipment rooms, conference rooms, laundry rooms, children’s rooms, and similar. The Sound Fastener screw efficiently reduces any ambient noise such as footsteps, talking and so on.
